Yubla Paints Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 2026 · Governing paint sales, contractor matching, custom tinting, and digital platform interaction across Kenya.
1. Product Orders & Computerized Tinting
All architectural paint products ordered through the Yubla online paint catalogue (including our flagship SuperMatte Emulsion 20L and wall preparation items) are manufactured to strict technical specifications. You can test swatches in our interactive house visualizer before purchasing.
Custom Colour Tinting: Orders specifying custom Yubla colour codes are mixed using computerized tinting dispensers. Once mixed, custom-tinted products follow our Refund Policy and cannot be cancelled once tinting has commenced.
2. Painting Services & Contractor Quotations
Yubla connects homeowners and commercial clients with verified master painters for professional painting services and wall repairs:
- Site Inspections & Written Quotes: Quotations provided through the platform specify labor scope, surface preparation, coat count, and paint quantities.
- Contractor Accreditation: Decorators who apply to become a contractor undergo background vetting, skill verification, and agree to our referral program terms detailing how referrals work.
- Milestone Payments: Service payments and deposits held in escrow follow the milestone schedule outlined in the accepted quotation.
3. Pricing, Delivery & Regional Availability
Prices displayed on the Yubla digital catalogue include statutory VAT. Shipping terms and transit schedules are governed by our Delivery Policy across all service locations. Quality Guarantee & Customer Protections
Yubla guarantees that all factory-sealed paint tins meet published technical specifications for opacity, dry time, VOC compliance, and washability. Products should be stored between 5°C and 35°C away from direct sunlight.
If a product fails to conform to factory specifications due to a manufacturing defect, Yubla will replace the defective quantity free of charge.
Frequently asked questions
Can I amend my order after checkout?
Standard paint stock items can be amended before dispatch. Orders containing custom computerized tinting cannot be modified once tinting has commenced.
What happens if my site inspection alters the paint estimate?
If a contractor site inspection identifies damaged plaster or structural dampness requiring specialized primers, the contractor will issue a revised quote for customer approval prior to work.
